Straightening AEB-L

i have just profiled 4 kitchen knives from .156 AEB-l. I cut them using waterjet out of a 6"x24" piece from alpha. Looking at the spine you can see a warp which I assume is memory from the steel being a coil at one point. I plan to plate quench all before grinding bevels. Would straightening the blades cold before HT do anything?

It’s best to over bend and then go back straight.

Our .098", .118", .138", .156", .188" and .196" AEB-L have never been coiled. We specified the steel be sheared and stacked rather than coiled.

Interesting, wonder how it warped. Either way I got them all heat treated, and surface ground. All is well.
