Hey Guys, I bought some Buffalo horn that looks more like it was picked off a tree. Can it be straightened by boiling in water like deer antler?
I would loose to much by grinding.
Thanks,
Bill

Clamp it to a piece of metal, and put it in the oven for 20 minutes at 200-225 degrees. Let it cool in the oven, then unclamp.

Keep it under 225 and it won't stink.
You can boil it, too-but clamp it first and let it dry for a few days before unclamping it.
