I made a trade with a well-known member this forum whose name oh most likely keep confidential I solicited him for the trade. So backtracking and information would not be easy. Anyway we traded in spyderco Delica for his William Henry model s70-as on the face of the this seems like an awesome deal. It still may be however this knife was made in Japan a fact that I was aware of before and made a trade so you'd expect a slightly lower standard than the near custom work coming from the American shop. However and this was never mentioned the thumb stud rattles and spins freely. I noticed this immediately but being somewhat trusting I thought it might be a design in future to aid in opening. It turns out after going to two different knife shops that the thumb stud definitely shouldn't rattle or move. I have contacted William Henry and they will no doubt make it right. But there's a certain amount of disappointment, and extra time and money that will be involved:( I talk to the person I trade with about the thumb stud and they said they noticed it a thought it must be a design feature, I'm not sure they're being fully forthcoming........
