Strangest payment method

Haven't played that one. I'm wanting to get battlefield 3, but knife stuff is more important right now. Besides I can't make knives if I'm busy shooting imaginary people. ;)

Well not knife related, but once I have painted a coolroom in a bottleshop (those who have been to Australia will know what I'm talking about) and got paid in booze. :D

ive just had a forge built from a gas bottle 2in kowool and regulater and i traded that for some carbide reamers, end mills and bull nose cutters elfo sounds like you got the better part of the deal workng all day in a cool room drinking ya pay

For a filet knife, I got cash, a box of fire brick and a bar of copper. For an AD hunting knife, a week and a half of house/cat sitting. hehe.

First knife I ever sold, I got a huge block of really old, really choice Redwood Burl for it. That Redwood piece measures(yep, still have it) about 2' x 2' x 2.5". Solid burl, too. Weighs a lot less than you would imagine a piece of wood that size would weigh. If I ever decide to cut it up, it's definitely going out for stabilizing. Plenty old and dry, though. Guy said he had it for about 20 years and I've had it for at least 10 since then.
