Stream hiking with TGLB

What kind of crab do you have in Phoenix? :)

I saw many more of the tiny crabs when I revisited the stream after the last light. They seem to be more active at night. This got me more interested about it and I decided to find out more about it. I learned that it is only found in Singapore and it is a critically endangered species :( I will stay away from the stream going forward to give these little creatures more space.

My poor attempt at localized humor was referring to the desperate two legged kind :grumpy: you might find hiding from the hot summer sun under the shade of a bridge for lack of a better place to take up residence. Not a first hand experience one wishes to repeat. I would much prefer meeting your version, they look pretty easy to deal with and are very neat little critters. Thanks for the extra info on them!

Durian......sweetest fruit in the world :) Thanks for sharing the pics. That look like a fun hike.

I gave away my TGLB yesterday to my nephew. He graduated from High School and will be joining the Air force in a few weeks.

Yes, durian can be very sweet. I prefer those that have a bitter sweet taste [emoji7]

That's very kind of you. I trust the TGLB will serve him well. When I was serving in Singapore, I was issued a blunt bayonet which cannot even open my MRE. I am so envy of your nephew [emoji4]
