New with papers and combat lanyard, only taken out of the packaging to test. TL-3 is 211 lumens and uses three CR123 batteries (included).

I would like to trade for a Inova T3 but open to any knife or light offer.

I don't know if you could but I don't know why anyone would. The TL3 LED drops from 211 to 90 lumens when you go LED. I have many LED lights and the TL3 is not a bad size for a 211 lumen light but for 90 its too large, you can get 2 CR123 cell LED lights with almost the same lumens but half the size of the TL3 LED. Nuwai makes a 5 watt that runs off two CR123 cells at 100 lumens and its shorter and has a smaller bezel then the TL3 LED.

This light is good for what it is, a brute of a light thats great for tactical applications but this light in LED is just too big and uses too many batteries for just 90 lumens.

I have both and they look identical so I would say the heads are interchangable. I find the big bezel is good for keeping it standing on end on the nightstand.

It does stand up well on the bezel. I like Streamlight lights and think they are the best value for the money. My TL2 is smaller in diameter than a Surefire 6P, has a better grip, comes with a "usable" belt clip and has an extra bulb. TL3 has the same excellent grip, belt clip and extra bulb just has that big bezel I can't get use to lol.

Here is a pic along side my TL2 for size comparison.
