Anybody ever try mounting one of these IWB loops from knifekits.com to the Street Beat sheath using the Chicago screws also on their site (according to the site, that is how it's mounted on)?

I want a way to wear it iwb and I think the loop would be the easiest way to do it, but I don't quite have the money to spend on an entire aftermarket sheath.

I'm probably gonna order a loop and some screws since they're not wallet busting. Just wanted to check if anyone had tried it yet. I guess as long as the eyelets aren't larger than 7/16" diameter it should work since the screw heads are that large, right? Anyone know the diameter? My Street Beat is on the way, so I can't check it :(

Now that I think about it, those screws don't look too long. I wonder if it would make it all the way through the eyelet and have enough thread to be secure.
I guess it would be good to measure how thick the eyelets are. Now I really can't wait for it to get here. :(

ehhh,
I don't have the 'Street Beat sheath' but you don't need the 'Chicago screws' to attached the belt loop to sheath.

Please check the picture, I disassemble my belt loop to show you how it works. The belt loop has the necessary screw already.

I believe if the sheath was made by 0.093" (or less) thick material and the rivet diameter is about 1/4", the belt loop can fit.

Hope this help,
Joe

Thanks Joe. I'm gonna go ahead and order a loop and see if it will fit. It looks like it should work out.
