Street beat

Just arrived this evening, the Spyderco Perrin "Street Beat"

What I like a lot:
- the ergonomy
- the fit and finish: WOW!
- the very sharp edge
- the smart sheath

What I like less:
- the spyderhole, I feel it doesn't belong on a fixed blade (I know, I know, it's the trademark, don't shoot me)
- the size, it's smaller than I remeber (I saw it once in a knife shop)

All in all, a good knife! :thumbup:

I have had mine for a few months now and i only have good things to say about it.

I dont really mind the little spydie hole.

I sold mine a while back, because I knew I'd never use it, but now I want one again... For all the reasons you mentioned.

I want one of these badly. I think it would make a great edc.

As far as the spyderhole, I am sure that I would never do it but it would allow you to lash it to a stick to make a spear.
