I just won one on e-bay. Will I like it? Is it to small? How is the best way to carry it?

I really like the knife. The deep choil does make it super secure and easy to unsheathe. When you first handle it, it is kind of shocking how small and portable it is. This is a plus because concealing it is a breeze and it carries well. The whole package makes the knife feel really alive in your hand.

I like to just carry it on the side of my belt in the standard position but some carry it horizontally in the small of their back. I personally wouldn't be comfortable with it but it would work great with the street beat.

I really like mine. I carry it on the hip sometimes, but have thought about going to a horizontal position. I think it may end up strapped to my backpack during outings this summer.

Handle fits my hand really well, and feels great. Blade is long enough that I wouldn't hesitate to use it to field dress a deer. Slicing watermelon would be another story. :D Sheath is bad, even for plastic. If I were going to carry mine, I have a decent leather one made.

I would like the Street beat better with a G-clip. It is a great knife, you will like it.

I noticed the newer fixed blades are coming out with a new sheath and clip system.

In any event, one could easily order a simple G clip from kydex gurus like Mike Sastre.

Own one and love it!
However had to get a custom sheath from Eric at OnScene tactical.
Got a g-clip and static line and they're both awesome.
Usually carry it vertical with the g-clip but the IWB with the static line is cool too. I also have a Boker MPT and the StreetBeats fit and finish are light years beyond it (not that I dont like the MPT). SBs a bit smaller but fits the hand well just not in RGEI..

Yeah the Streat Beat's micarta handle is hand finished to the tang, so you get that little bit of extra love from a skilled craftsman.

I love my Street Beat. Best Fixed Blade I own. It's small and totally intimidating. It fits like a glove and melts into your hand

Sheath from River City Sheath. I though I was a leather sheath man until I got my concealex sheath from Mike Sastre. Totally classy. On the hip or IWB is perfect for this little moster.
