Hello all , long title I know but I liked it , so here we go .
This is double hollow ground from 1/8" D-2 Bar stock , Heat Treated to an Rc 61-62 with the sub-zero quench and has a fine scotch-brite belt satin finish .
The Bolster is 3x3 carbon fiber ( a gift given to me by our member here Alan Warren ) held with 2- 5/32" mosaic pins and epoxy . The handle is black canvas micarta , separated with a blue spacer and blue liners . The S.S. pins are 3/16" Corby bolts .
The sheath was designed by me as right hand cross draw OR left hand reverse hand draw on the outside of the belt . Also works as left hand cross draw OR right hand reverse draw behind the belt . It will also work has horizontal right hand carry but not left unless the knife is inserted in the sheath in the opposite direction worn outside the belt .
Long story I know but the sheath will work in several configurations , you will need to find what you like best . Enough said .
O.A.L is 9-1/4" , the blade tip to bolster is 4-1/4" . The sharpened edges are at 3-3/4" . The blade is1-1/8" wide at the plunge grind and 1-1/2" at the finger guard .
$270.00 Now $235.00+ $12.00 for insured shipping in the USA . Pay-Pal or postal m/o , check held to clear . My PP is sandlot@charter.net .
