Been a rough week or so for me. Things at work, son getting married, planning the trip to Blade.
I been catching myself siting overthinking every little thing. Taking little worries in my head and making up worst case scenarios to just thinking up stuff to worry about. Is this just me or does anyone else do this from time to time?

I am a worrier but the last week or so has been really bad.

Pretty much always. Heck I could probably make it to bladebut it would be one more thing to think plan worry pay and yes ENJOY. But short answer is, see JT Texcan's response :D

I honestly caught myself a little while ago worrying about why my Iphone battery drained so fast today.

Yeah I’ve hit that wall, over think, worry, plan etc. Heck I can’t buy one Busse for fear if it broke or damaged lol. Well for me when I get like that, I hit the gym, go running or get the dog and hike. If all else fails I find working on my old car helps too :-) Always good to find a way of what works to clear your head even if for a short while.

Sounds like you are caught in “the feedback loop from hell” a term I learned from a book I am currently reading to help with this condition. It is called that because you worry all the time, then you start to worry about the fact that you are always worried and it goes on and on and on.

I can’t give you the full name of the book on here but it’s called “The subtle art of not giving a....” I have to leave out the last word but it has four letters and starts with F.

It is also available as an audio book so you may be able to download it and listen to it ASAP.

Been trying that. Not working very well. Tied a neck lanyard for the spyderco bug name tag this afternoon. Found it hard to concentrate and it didn't turn out the way I wanted as I tried a new knot.

That sounds exactly like it. Get past one thing only to come back to something else.

You are not responsible for everything my friend! You can't solve every problem and it isn't your job to! ;) :) Have a beer and enjoy the little things, you deserve it

:thumbsup::thumbsup: Get out of the house, work out, physical activity you enjoy that engages your hands/body. Physical work, even to the point of exhaustion, can be a great antidote. Being outdoors works best for me.
