Stretch 2 CF or Sage 2 Ti

The SageII is my favorite Spyderco. I have a large hand and prefer the handle over my Caly3 or small Sebenza. My thumb fits the Sage blade alot better than the Caly, and the inside width between the slabs is much wider and doesn't pinch me like with the Caly and some other Spyderco's.

The handle has very smooth edges(unlike some inside edges) inside and out.
My spine above spyderhole was a but crisp for me, but a med rod smoothed that out in no time.

I'm starting to think my small sebbie may not see much more pocket time at all, and I never though there would be another 3" I like as much or more than my small sebbie. Yeah I like it a little bit:p

I have a CF Sage and Stretch 2. Both great knives, but I prefer the overall package offered in the Stretch...by a nose.

I prefer the Stretch. Better ergos for me, better steel, great blade, great everything. The Blade on my CF Sage had a similar edge thickness to the Stretch, so they should have similar cutting ability, but the thinner and narrower tip of the Stretch make it a bit more versatile (not to mention the extra 1/2" of blade). The Sage is an excellent knife with incredible fit and finish and a lock style that many love, but I like the trusty lock back on my Stretch 2. I also like the grippy Peel Ply CF over metal handles any day, though the shape of the Sage's handle does lock you in well. Both are great knives, but I think from pure utility perspective the Stretch 2 wins out.
