Stretch FRN ZDP-189

Yep, and a few online dealers show them as "in stock" as well. :D

Great ergos paired with great geometry and steel along with light weight and a very good price makes this a great knife. After my wallet recovers from getting my Manix 2 CF and Spyderhawk I will be getting one of these for sure.

Where is the best place price-wise to get one of these that currently has them in stock?

Wow, all the stores take crappy pictures. If your pics are accurate in color, that's a really nice blue. I think I'll have to buy the VG-10 and the ZDP and then do a scale swap.

All the pics from stores are much darker than it actually is. The color is a little darker than shown in the picture due to the window lighting I use which "lightened" the color.

is the thumbhole the same size as the paramilitary?

how does the deployment feel? smooth? easy to flick open?

Does the stretch have washers? Wondering about both the FRN and the carbon fiber model.
I know the CF version has bronze washers. I'd imagine the FRN does as well, since it mimics the construction of the Delica 4 and Endura 4, both of which have them. But, so far anyway, I've had no reason to disassemble mine.

Such a sweet looking knife!!!

As others above have asked, where can you pick up the Stainless clip from? What do you ask CS for?

Several people have mentioned asking customer service for a Manix 2 clip, which is identical except it doesn't have the center hole for a lanyard or pivot adjustment without taking the clip off.

Same can be done with the Military. Order a clip for the Orange Military and it will come nice and bare. This can be put on any Military or Paramilitary model.

Great info Josh K!!!

Those would be models I'd like to switch!! How'd you know? ;)

Thanks for the answer Paul. While I have your attention do you mind me asking why you don't like the Boye dent? I have seen you mention that and just curious is all. Thanks!

BTW My CF stretch just arrived and it is pretty darn nice. The only thing I wish is that it had a way to flick it open and closed easier. That is not a problem with the knife at all. I just like to play with them and that makes it easier to do if you can wave it open or flick it open with a BBL or AXIS lock or even a thumbstud. That has nothing to do with the function of the knife just something I like to do when there is nothing to shred up into hundreds of little pieces laying around. :D:D
