Stretch g10 scales possible?

I like the Deacon's choice of colors too, especially coyote brown at the top, then for me, maybe tan and dark green next, although all those colors would look great polished.

I know everybody seems to love the ergonomics of the Stretch, and I don't know what changes are planned for the choil; but for me the leading edge (maybe 3/16") of the side of my forefinger always seems a bit crowded and the choil a bit of a long reach, sort of like a trigger finger. I think the overall length of the grip area is sufficient but a tiny bit more depth at the front end might be more comfortable. No big deal -- that's just me. I know a minute with a Dremel would take care of that, but so far I've never modified any of my Spydercos (not so for other brands :)).
 
One of the only complaints about the Southard is the brown G10. Don't get me wrong, I know some like brown but how about a more crowd friendly color for the first run? If it has to be brown, how about a light tan? Also, not sure how nice polished brown G10 would be if it isn't bolstered. Are we going for an art piece on the first G10 Stretch offering? I'd be happy with good ol' peel ply in dark blue, or foliage green like the DFly and Endura.
 
Great news from Sal! You had me a 'Stretch in G10...' As for color, I'd vote coyote brown, 'foliage green' or digi-cam, in Spyderco's awesome (grippy) G10, like on the PM2 and Manix 2xl. Or just black.

(And please oh please consider ZDP-189 or another premium steel... Oh heck, I'd be stoked about a VG-10 version, too.)

Pass on the brown, no thanks. Camo, Blue, OD green, even orange would be nice, even black would work. even an "evil" or dangerous looking purple would be cool....the stretch kinda has a sinister look to it in its current form, i'd go with something that flows with that form.
 
I'll second the purple or red, but would be happy with grey or black. A ball lock version would be awesome!
 
I will definetly be picking one of these up. The stretch is a great model. I just always wished the finger choil was bigger. Now I guess dreams do come true. Oh yes, I would prefer an Earth Brown color configuration.
