Stretch Question

In your specific situation with daily work carry in high humidity & lots of sweat i would probably go for something in S110V steel, as that has a very nice combination of high wear resistance & high corrosion resistance.
I think i see a lightweight Manix 2 in your future...

After some research and advice from this forum I pulled the trigger on this today...Spyderco Pacific Salt H-1 Knife Black FRN (3.81" Black Full Serr) C91SBBK. Also ordered a Sharpmaker. Looking forward to putting this knife to task in some very harsh environments. It will pull double duty as any every work day EDC and also my boat knife for cutting line, bait, and fish. It will be interesting to see how it holds up to salt, sand, sweat and fish guts.

I've found that my zdp 189 Endura has corrosion problems when I use it working out side close to the water. I also sweat a lot most of the year. The vg10 doesn't have the rust problem and is simple to keep sharp.
 
Should have read the second page before making the above post. Sounds like you made a good choice. I d like to try a Salt sometime myself.
