Strider 889 SMF

So Jimmy Crack Corn and Love Me Tender...

Given a choice for, let's say, camping...110 (standard) or 889?
 
I carry my 889 around at home, but it is one heavy mutha. The 889 is the same size as a Strider SnG, not the SMF. I second the motion and think that Buck should make PT version. I would definitely buy on ASAP if they did.

You can pick one up for $45 (no tax) from the Military Clothing store at Ft Belvoir and probably many other Bases for you military types.

It seems like mine failed a spine whack or two early on, but I can't get it to fail now. It must have just been break-in issues. My copy is very smooth opening.

I ended up dremeling the scales smooth and it is much nicer now, being a bit thinner helps also. I had not thought about it for a while, I think I'll dig it out and let it ride in the truck, thanks.

I ran the diamond file of my LM Wave gently across the scales. Worked wonders smoothing them out. :thumbup:

Mine also rides in my truck... just in case ;)
