How many AL's have been made? Are they truely a limited edition?

That is more of a Duane question, but yes they are limited.
I know that less than 50 have been made.

On Saturday, at the BAKCA show, Duane told me that he had made about 40 of them.

After about four hours of deliberation, I finally caved and bought one. It's an awesome knife......

Wow Zach! That picture of the original D-AL concept is a picture I've been hunting for. I cannot post out here, but will email you a pic. of my carbon fiber D-AL so you can post it out here for visual comparison.
