• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

I'm going to ask what might be a stupid question. How signifigant is it that an AR is numbered? I have a (M/A) Microtech Socom Elite with a serial # (& date) on the blade. As far as I know, the serial # and date really don't mean much, at least as far as Microtech knives are concerned.

I mean no sarcasm or anything. I buy a knife to use, not to keep in a drawer. I personally don't have a use for a "special" knife, whether it has a special serial # or if it's "sterile".

Note: From the Pic, it appears to be hollow ground also, verses flat ground on un-numbered AR's.
