Yes but then they'd have to know about strider, i could see spoiled brats knowing companies like Cold Steel, Benchmade, and Spyderco, maybe even a few popular custom knife makers, but Strider isnt the most popularly known name, i only found out about them because New Graham had a section for them back then when i was looking through their stuff i believe. Its been a couple years and i rarely hear the name strider anymore, its not so much the price though, but the object that has the price, their parents might pay 400 to 500 for something like technology, but a little axe might make them think they're wasting their money.

I have been on a CR quest for awhile now. I am half tempted to offer an XM-18 in trade for one. That might bring one out.
