Anyhow, I just got my buck collaberation in the mail. It's pretty cool.

Question though, how does everyone like the clips on these suckers? (i'm assuming the AR/GB clip is similar) It seems really tight. That, or the g10 is just really grippy. One way or another, I have a feeling clipping this knife is going to tear my pants to ****.

Anyone have the same problem? Do i just, bend the clip back some or what?

Thanks.

If your Strider-Buck is like my new AR, both. My clip is extremely tight and the G-10 is very grippy. For the clip to be very pants friendly, the clip would need to be looser and the G-10 under it would need to be smooth. I'm not planning to use the clip, so it's not that big a deal to me.

I think it's the G10 it's self and not really the clip being tight. I would think about using sandpaper and taking the worst of the teeth off. I also would spend some time working on the edges to round them off a little.

If it is too tight your too... Oh wait we'er not talkin' about girls sorry.... try to flex the clip before you do anything. I have both the big Strider/Buck and the small one as well....Along with a new GB... I have not had any problems with the clip or tearing...Although after a long duration there is quite a bit of wear on the jeans pocket....but hey my Kershaw did the same thing so no complaints here... Good Luck however you choose.

i ripped a couple of pockets when trying to slide the knife in.
you can get a small holster for your strider-buck for about $30.

the strider-buck has been a great knife.
