Strider SMF Cracked Ice/Black G10
Looking to sell this new SMF. Never carried, never used to cut anything. Opened/closed maybe a couple dozen times, so it still needs some breaking in as it came pretty stiff. Lock-up is solid, as is the ball detent....no blade play/wiggle either opened or closed. Blade is centered. The main cutting edge is a hollow grind and is very sharp, but the tip edge is (true to Strider form) rather blunt. Still, it's actually one of the nicer production Striders I've handled.
Some "factory" flaws (always to be expected):
1. a very small "knick" on the framelock-side thumbstud.
2. the "cracked ice" finish on the G10 seems to be somewhat unpolished, especially in certain lighting. But it isn't really "bad". It feels like a cross between a CC and a "lego" handle. The titanium side finish is quite nice.
3. did I mention the front edge was blunt?
