Strider customer service

Does Strider customer service compare to the likes of CRK, Busse Co., and other great knife companies? I've had very pleasant experiences with both aforementioned companies with very fast communications. I sent an email with a couple questions to strider customer service a few days ago and have yet to get a reply. I'm not very impressed so far. I think they have great products, I'm just hoping (curious to see) they have the customer service to match.

I forgot to mention: I don't care about the owner's life/myth/lies. I'm not concerned about any of that. I judge a knife and knife company by the materials, workmanship and service.
 
Hey bro, they're in Vista just take a drive up there and they'll fix you up! I've gone by there a few times and they've taken excellent care of me on the spot with no questions asked!
 
Once you get ahold of them they will take care of you.:thumbup: You might try calling the shop or sending another email if you don't hear back directly though.
 
From the way I read it, Strider's warranty policy might even be better than CRK as they are willing to cover uses not covered by CRK. I don't know anything about Busse's warranty.
 
It can take a busy company a little while to answer emails. It is quite likely that large quanity of emails every day. If you want to get through to them quickly, it would be best to call.
 
More recently then cougar's link, Josh at strider knives took the initiative to try to contact a user with a problem. Maybe service is OK.

Hi PBUBSY,

Unfortunately, returning emails and phone calls sometimes take second seat to other more immediate issues. A large amount of our time is spend dealing with government contracts, related requests for quotes, and any repairs that come in. We are working hard to keep up with customer service however sometimes emails and calls get past us, there are only two of us here in the office.

Not making excuses, and i'm sorry you were dissatisfied with our service.
