I was wondering why there was not a strider forum like other popular makers, but now I know. There was one at the start of this forum but it was closed down. I have to say I am very disappointed with the way that Mick Strider was acting at the time of the shutdown, he will never get my business again. It is worth a look in the archive section at the bottom of the home page.

You're assuming we didn't already know his background. He makes high end knives, people don't just walk into Walmart and buy a Strider.
 
I did not know his background until today. I only knew that people were very divided on his products
 
The history surrounding this topic is very well known to those that truly immerse themselves in knife collection. Some people take great personal offense to the matter, while others simply couldn't care less. Anyone interested in the details of such matters can easily click on the forum archives and read to their hearts content. In the end, wrong or right people will choose to buy whatever the want, regardless of what is said or done. That said, I'm closing this one before we get into any problems.
