OK, I've had issues with Strider in the past which is fairly well known. I sent a DDC SnG in a while ago to get serviced (lockup adjustment) and had worries that they were going to teach me a lesson as to who I shouldn't be messing with for our past run ins and keep it for way too long or screw something up on it. I had also sent in a knife a long time ago that I ended up getting a refund for but I had shipped it in a Strider Customs bag with no markings on it and never got it back. And ya, it kinda peed me off. Well, I got the DDC back today and couldn't be happier about it. It locks up like a vault again and they even sharpened out an almost scratch that was on the primary bevel of the Chisel Ground SnG.:thumbup: Not only that but I also find in the envelope a Strider Custom bag with the Strider Emblem on it. Which was a step up from the plain bag they had kept in the first place. Very cool.:thumbup:

All I can say about this experience is that the Striderguys came through in a very professional manner and I truly appreciate it. Very well done.

Thanks Striderguys,

Greg, that's true class of you to post this. Thanks for the skinny about their service.

Strider Knives, regardless of opinion regarding the personalities which make up the firm, certainly goes out of their way to offer one of the finest customer service policies in the industry.

This reminds me I've got a couple of daily-use type knives which could use a fresh-up myself.

Good to hear, indeed!

Thanks for sharing the story Oily!
