STRIDER KNIFE, Original or counterfeit?

Hi, I recently bought a large knife collection from a local guy who collected for 30 years. I am listing them on eBay and just realized from research that Strider knives have counterfeits. His collection spans the knife world from foreign tribal stuff to plenty of Benchmades. This Strider was in their and I just want to make sure it's original, as I have it listed on eBay. It is marked Strider on one side in a smaller font and has the logo on the other side, no other markings, no steel type or "USA". I don't think links are allowed, am I allowed to post my eBay user name to find the auction? If it's fake, I will either keep it or list it as such. It is very, very well made. I am brand new to the forum and your opinions on the knife originality are appreciated!

Thanks,
Stez (Gerard)

Pictures would help as some of the clones just don't look right

I don't get how people think that others could help validate something they can't see

OK, I just found out reading that you need to upgrade to post photos. I'll do that.

ok, paid for basic membership, at soon as it is activated, I will post photos. Thanks, Gerard

You don't have to upgrade to post photos. You can use a free photo hosting account like imgur.com

Let me know if the attachments work for you? If so, I can post a few more.

I'm not seeing anything, and get invalid attachment if I click on it
as to stamps- they use all sorts of types and combinations. No steel marking is usually S30V

Thanks, I'll post when my account is upgraded. It also has no "USA" on it, only the maker name on one side and the logo on the other. I'll wait to post photos when my account upgrade is complete, don't want to clutter this thread up anymore than I have.

Via Tapatalk (mobile app) is a great way to post pics in forums that you frequent

So you don't know if it is real yet you have it listed for sale?

See the above.

I uploaded some to an album under my profile and some just appeared on one of the posts above. Hope it helps.
