Up for your consideration is this Strider 3V Fixed Blade DUB-L Monkey Edge Frag Pattern. It has never been carried or used and the marks on the blade is from slipping it in and out of the holster. It still maintains the sharp factory edge. From what I've gathered these are pretty rare knives. Asking $400 or best reasonable offer. Will ship USPS priority the following morning of the sale. From monkey edge page: SOLD THANKS BF

The Strider DB-L and SA-L models have become almost legendary over the past 20 years for being smaller, carry all the time, near indestructible, fixed blades. However, they were designed with different roles in mind:
The SA-L - With it’s versatile, general use, spearpoint blade profile, is great at traditional “knife stuff” like cutting, slicing, stabbing, etc. That curved cutting edge makes it a damn near perfect self defense/utility blade, but there is no debating that the tip is more fragile than the enforced tanto tip of the DB. Therefore, not as well suited to urban wrecking.
The DB-L - Was designed by a cop who basically wanted an urban wrecking tool. Like a pry-bar with an edge. It was for things like popping open windows and doors, hacking your way in or out of a helicopter or car. On some occasions people would hear about the legendary DB and then order one only to get it and say “it’s not hair shaving sharp!” to which we would then have to explain to them the reality of edge geometry. The DB has a more obtuse edge geometry and a straight main cutting edge. It was never meant to be a filet knife.
Problem is that many folks can’t wrap their heads around the fact that knives are just like any other tools: you need to pick the right one for the job! There is a difference between a framing hammer and a finishing hammer!
Enter the DUB-L! The Strider Knives crew decided to take the reinforced tanto style tip of the DB and combine it with the curved main cutting edge of the SA to create a bombproof, versatile, EDC sized fixed blade. Whether carried concealed, on your duty rig, or tucked in your bug-out-bag, the DUB-L is the damn near perfect tool for the job.
  • Reenforced tanto profile tip for piercing strength
  • Main cutting edge has a deeper hollow ground main bevel and a more acute final edge geometry for better general use slicing capability
  • The deeper hollow grind stops well short of the spine, allowing for plenty of ‘urban wrecking'
  • Curved main cutting edge for more cutting surface area
  • Constructed from the SUPER tough CPM 3V steel
  • G10 grips in Monkey Edge FRAG Pattern

My apologies I haven't received it. I think it's because the first letter should have been lower case. Try again with redacted email

I literally just received your email at 3:35 pm. Unfortunately the knife has sold just 10 minutes ago.
