i think you can get a custom cuscadi back spacer that may adress your issues by feeding the lanyard in a different way that does not interfere with the blade... i saw a video in youtube that showed a strider pt that had the lanyard go through the backspacer and into the hole... however, i am not sure if the same can be done for a sng/smf
