I have a mint condition Mick Strider custom AR with grooved coyote brown G-10 scales and a Nightmare ground Digicam S30V blade with a trisula for sale. The AR is one of the biggest, toughest, and beefiest folders in existence, and the Nightmare ground versions are even tougher than the standard versions, with a thicker tip than the stock AR. This piece is perhaps the meanest knife that I've ever owned, and its asymmetric grind on both sides is perhaps the most complex that I've seen yet.
The MSC NM AR listed here never been carried, used, or resharpened, and the original edge on it from Mick is sharp. I have looked this piece over, and I can't find any marks on it, so I will call it dead mint. The opening action is very smooth, the piece locks up like a fixed blade, and the blade centering is just about dead perfect.
***SOLD***
The specs:
Condition: Mint
Blade length: 4 1/8" from tip to handle
Overall length: 9 1/2"
Blade thickness: 3/16" at ricasso
Blade steel: S30V
Blade finish: Digicam
Edge: Plain
Handle scale material: Coyote brown G-10, grooved
Lock: Titanium liner lock, stonewashed
Backspacer: Stand-offs, beadblasted
Clip: Tip up, titanium, beadblasted
For payment, I prefer USPS money orders, but I will also accept PayPal and cash (at your own risk). If you are paying by PayPal, I will cover the fees, but the payment has to be sent with a PayPal-confirmed address (including the green "confirmed" marker) listed in the invoice, and I will only ship to that PayPal-confirmed address. I will only accept a personal check if I know you, and I reserve the right to wait for it to clear before I ship.
I will consider a trade for a Strider RC or an AR or GB with specifically the following options:
Digicam blade
Black grooved and contoured G-10 scales
TAD tritium thumbstuds
Cash or other knives of interest would have to be added to the above Strider trades.
I will also consider trades (+ or - cash or other knives of interest) for custom folders and custom balis. I am especially interested in the following makers:
JL Williams
Tim Galyean
Kit Carson
Jim Burke
Rick Hinderer
Charles Marlowe
DB Fraley
Deryk Munroe
Tom Mayo
Neil Blackwood
Flavio Ikoma
Mauricio Dobruski (balis only)
Ken Onion
Phil Boguszewski
Todd Begg
I may consider trades for other custom folders not listed above. However, I am not interested in serrated blades, production knives aside from the specific aforementioned Striders, or fixed blades other than a Galyean Ukiah, a Primos Montero, small (less than 5" blade) Hossoms, or a Russ Andrews or John Young at this point in time.
Feel free to post, email, or PM any questions. Thanks for looking!
