Strider MSC SMF Titanium Pivot question

I just received a Strider MSC titanium w the new hardware and Titanium pivot system. The knife is great however when I disengage the lock bar the bald pretty much drops freely into the locked position. For some people I know they like it like that however for me I prefer it be a little less "loose" w out messing anything up, is it okay to take 2 hex tools to the pivot joint and tighten it UP? if I do that will I always have to be tightening it so its not so loose??

Go for it, I have a msc preformance SnG with the same pivot. Yes you need two hex tools to adjust it, just make sure there a tight fit so it doesn't deform. I tightened mine just a smidge and it hasn't loosened up yet and its been a while.

great thanks, now I am having some blade play. when knife is fully opened, I can hold the tip of the blade and shake it and feel it moving around. not to happy about it
