Strider Noveske Collaboration knife

I couldn't care less what any of you knife nerds think. I came here to draw more attention to more of those knives being released. I'm only in it for the investment price of that knife.

Kill my account. I don't care.

You couldn't care less, but yet here you are, so apparently you do in fact, care. My, what a sensitive little type you are turning out to be, it's amusing and fascinating at the same time. What makes things even better is your overcooked and forced attempt at witty sarcasm. If you don't like it here, the door you came in through can be used as an egress point as well. If you leave, I'd wager tour disheveled mess of thoughts and words won't really be missed much. Go ahead and get going and we'll find out? What do you say? Based on your posts you reall haven't contributed one single useful piece of information.

So these were limited to 50, but Strider made extras, in case some of them were botched?

Riddle me this; Why serialize them beyond 50 to begin with? If the quality control sucks, the botched blade should've been destroyed, and the replacement should've been serialized with the respective number.

This is incredibly unacceptable to release more of these knives, and it only serves to drive down the value of the original, limited, collection. it isn't just an extra 5 or 6 knives either. Check this gem out:

Number 65? Where do the lies end?!

Shame on Strider, AND on Noveske for having their name attached to this. This is even worse than their "limited edition" Johnny Mags. They're so "limited" that they sold out several times, and are still available 3 years later.

This issue warrants more attention.

For everyone's benefit, Strider isn't the only ones that do this. Benchmade, ZT and Microtech have with limited editions as well.

On another note, there's nothing that could drive down the value of the original limited knife more than Strider did designing it in the first place. Scarcity does not equal desirability.

Wow, 8 posts and banned. As much as I would like to think that is some kind of record I am sure someone else has been a bigger jerk and got banned even quicker. Anyway, OP enjoy your new knife.

Congrats on the new knife, JuiceHead - and the nice pictures.

With Noveske on the knife one would think it a quality piece regardless of how many were made.

Not your fault at all, it happens around here from time to time.

Apparently there were very few of those knives made - you have a rare one without regard to what was promised and the highest known serial number.

I am a gun guy and a knife guy, I am aware of Noveske and Strider and I had not seen or heard of that knife.

Good pickup, especially if you love the design.

I'm curious about the sheath on this one. What is that protrusion in the area above where the spine rests? And what function do those holes along the spine area serve? Do they mate with the teeth so that you can supply supplemental retention for a jump, or am I way off base?
