Up for your consideration today we have these NIB Strider SMF & SNG’s in PD1 Micromelt tool steel. Sporting a full black look with oxided blades, hybrid aluminum scales on the SMF and G10 gunner grip on the SNG, these are certainly rare models in the modern lineup. To my knowledge, these models were the first batch of production profiled PD1 SMF’s and PD1 SNG’s since Strider’s reorganization in 2017/18. Whereas, the majority of PD1 production has been focused on SNG’s since the rerelease, this SNG has a special uniqueness to it. Strider initially “Mismarked” the steel on the SNG and re-rolled the mark PD1 on the blade itself. Never seen before or since, the rad “Mismark” PD1 SNG is a great little oddity in the lineup. These SNG’s were definitively the first PD1 Striders offered in October of 2021, and the SMF is a single batch production from January 2022. Knives are NIB, uncut nor carried, stored in my collection and minimally played. The SNG has one spot of factory color differential near the “Mismark” and it is pictured in video. Lastly up for your consideration is this NIB Strider PD1 Micromelt Crosshatch SNG. Knife is NIB, uncut nor carried. Has one spot of factory color differential near the show side thumb hole. Exceedingly rare Strider model and to my knowledge the first and only batch made in PD1 Micromelt steel since the 2017/18 timeframe.
