Strider PT?

I have a number of PTs, including Strider and Pro-Strider models. With a 2.75” blade length, it’s quite small. Sometimes that is a good thing. I actually find the Pro-Strider PT Plus to be just about the perfect size. Even more so than the SnG since the butt of the knife on these Strider designs is large.
I looked at the Protech version, but all I ever found were automatics. I like autos, but was looking for standard folder on this one. I agree, sometimes smaller can be better under certain circumstances. Thanks for your perspective.

I handled some years ago at Tad Gear and wasn’t impressed. They all (4 or 5 examples) had blade play and the actions weren’t consistent between knives. A couple also had off-center blades if that’s important to you. Oh, and then I found out that the owner of the company was flirting with stolen valor and that made it VERY easy to pass on Strider (McBurger) knives. Ended up with a ZT instead. Check out the Spyderco Shaman for a higher quality knife with similar characteristics…
I appreciate you sharing your experience with PT model. I have never seen or handled a Shaman, I'll have to give em a look. 🤙
