Some might have remembered me posting in December with questions about a cube. Well here she is back from Strider where she was completely gone through and refinished.
Let me start off by saying I am not a knife collector. I don't dabble in high end knives. I am just a lucky soldier that ended up with a sweat knife that I didn't know was a GEM until after 5 years..... This was carried in Iraq although not used for the purpose it was designed for(I'm not that crazy
). I don't have any feedback on this forum, but if you look on eBay, I have a %100 feedback rating. I have also had a lot of sales on two other forums and can give multiple references there. I just fell this forum might be a better way to sell this rare knife then a lot of other places.
Now on to the blade!!!
As stated it is a Strider SMF CUBE with the COPPER BERYLLIUM blade. The blade has been completely resharpened and refinished by Strider them selves. The whole knife was gone over, cleaned, and looked at by strider. The only damage is right by the thumb depression for opening the blade. The G10 there has a couple of scrapes. I have showed this in the photo. The flat head slot on the screw holding hte blade shows paint wear where the screwdriver was used on it.
Other then then that what you see is what you get.
PRICE is $550 shipped insured through UPS. I have talked to a few people who have sold and bought these and have decided that would be a fair price. I would consider partial trade for a benchmade folder or nimravus 140 type. Maybe even a Leatherman multitool(wave or charge TI)
Like i said i am not a collector so no trade with highend collector stuff.
