Ok. I have my eye on a particular custom...so...need to sell something.
This is a Gen 1 Strider SmF...so...no Hinderer thingy. Don't get your hopes up...it's not numbered. I am, to the best of my knowledge, the second owner of this knife. I did carry it for about a week. I also cut the plastic off of a case of PediaSure cans...maybe two cases. There's a tiny aluminum mark on the blade from this exercise where the side of the knife brushed against the side of an aluminum can top. It looks just like the typical Strider marks...and I don't think it photographed. I also think it will rub off, but I'm not sure. Other than that...don't remember cutting anything. Can't speak for the first owner...but he said he didn't use it.
Usual Strider marks/rubs. Nice lock up and opens smoothly for a Strider. Blade is a bit off center in the closed position. I don't have the knife with me...but I believe it is to the Ti side. I'm at work and will take a look when I get home. I didn't carry it enough to bother adjusting the pivot...but that might take care of the slight off-centeredness. I can shoot a pic of this and email you if this is a concern.
I ship USPS insured with delivery confirmation. Satisfaction guaranteed.
Probably no trades...cause I've got my eye on something. Might consider Ray Rogers and A. T. Barr folders as partial trades. Maybe. In other words...I have no cash to pony up in a trade. You can give me money
but I have no money to give you. So...absolutely no trades more valuable than the Strider.
To sum up: I will consider a partial trade but cash is king. I will probably wait a few days before even considering trades. In any event, you must use the magic phrase "I'll take it" in order to claim this baby. (This is in keeping with the discussion I've been reading in the GB&U forum.)
I prefer PayPal as the depository for my ultra super secret knife slush fund and I'll eat the fees. Money orders and checks create unfortunate questions as to how I have anything worth this amount of money to sell...so...again...PP is preferred.
Let's start at $375 shipped. (This, of course, means that the first firm offer of $350 will get jumped on by me.)
Thanks,
Lynn
