Hey all, got a strider for sale, not original owner, its been sharpened and carried, clips been mounted lefty. Solid lockup, minimal lockstick, easy to disengage. Pretty well centered. Selling because I don't like the Lego style.
Owner: at least 2nd
Sharpened: yes, slack belt sharpened with 220 3m trizac and stropped on rough leather green compound, smooth leather white compound. Has been used since last sharpening.
Centered: not perfect but pretty close
Wear: couple light scratches on blade, mild finish wear to blade from cutting, mild wear to frame from flipping clip.
Clip: lightly adjusted to sit against frame so it doesnt tap.
Locktite: non added, not sure if any was applied prior.
Action: pretty smooth, does spydie flick open, lockup is tight without play. Minimal lockstick, I come from insert framelocks so it does seem sticker than my hinderer, but it is easy to unlock, might almost seem a little too easy to unlock, but it works perfectly and hasn't folded on me with pressure on the spine. No spine wacks at least by me, dont see any evidence either. Does have some dark black grease or vicious oil in the action from the prior owner.
Disassemble: outside of flipping clip screw pocket bolt, not by me, uncertain of prior owner.
Rating: Solid 85-90. Has finish wear, has been sharpened, has been used, great shape overall. Solid user quality.
Sale value $650 ppg&s shipped. No other payments. Will ship within a day or two depending on work. Will ship in a box.
No trades.
Includes baggie from strider marked with sharpie with model number. In rough shape, crinkly with a small hole.
Thanks
