Hey there everyone, I had to see whether Striders were for me or not. Last week I bought a new SMF. It has coyote G10, thick striping on the Ti side, and a striped blade.
However, is just too much for me I think. My hands arent the biggest of mitts out there and for all my needs, my Lg Seb just fits nicely.
Not to say that the SMF isnt nice, but its just not my taste I suppose.
I have used the knife to cut up a couple of boxes and somehow it got a light scuff in the blade. Other than that this thing is like new. It still has some sticking of the lock bar, meaning it hasnt even been broken in yet.
I also will include a spanner tool that I bought from one of the JD members (AutoElite) who makes them himself. It is crafted from hardened and twice tempered 440c and has a torx bit on it that fits all the screws on the knife (except the Hinderer lock screw).
I am looking for Busse knives first and foremost, with a Battle Mistress as the top pick. I have been looking at those for a while now, and I like what I see.
I would prefer one that has been used, but not abused. I will entertain offers on new ones, but have all intentions of beating on it, so if some one is ready to let go of their user, all the better!
As far as other knives I might trade for I am looking for a large chopper Busse to add to the collection, so something in the FSH range might also work. There is a possibility that I might trade for an Umnumzaan plus a little cash, or an inlaid Seb, as I am a CRK folder kind of guy. I am only interested in trading this knife right now, so please no offers to buy it.
