I don't know the generation of this one, but I do know it was one of the first generations with the Rick Hinderer frame lock check on it. It's like new with original sharp cutting edge, used too lightly to even mention, but has carry scratches. A great all around knife that functions the way one would expect of a Strider. It's a Gen 2 (the latest generation) if it has the Hinderer Lockbar Stabalizer. Also wanted to mention they are great for EDC. I've got Strider Customs and other customs but my Gen 1 SMF is my go to knife. They are just the right size for me. The slim profile works well with Dockers at the office and jeans out of the office.
