hey yall,
Up for sale is this barely used Strider SNG CC w/ coyote tan G10, flamed Ti lock-side and a gorgeous "Ghost Stripe" finish on the S30v blade. I purchased this last year and it has sat in the safe since then. I only carried it once, and all it has cut is paper, razor sharp factory edge. I paid somewhere around $420+ for this knife. I am the second owner.
***Now, down to the important part...I had tried to adjust the tension of the blade at the pivot WITHOUT using the appropriate armorers tool for Striders...stupid mistake on my part because I have caused the slightest amount of vertical blade play. I have tightened the pivot now and there is no play, but the blade is tight to deploy.(when I first got her, she was lightning fast and smooth, had I not adjusted it) Im almost positive that this knife can be tightened right up to perfect using the right tools, but my interests in knife collecting resides elsewhere now, and Im looking to make a Strider fan very happy.
Strider has a life time warranty that follows the knife, not the original owner...so even if the armorer tool didnt fix this baby wiggle in the blade...you could send to strider and have it back good as new in about 2 weeks.***
the flamed Ti and the ghost stripe finish on this knife is hands down some of the nicest I have seen on a folder to date. a blade striped in satin and bead blast. everything about this knife is great, blade is dead center, solid lock up, the whole nine... just needs to be adjusted by strider, or possibly by using their tool.
