Strider SNG First Impressions (First Strider)

Very nice. My new to me SNG has really been growing on me as well. Does carry very well. I have found that the non coated blade slices extremely well.
 
when i sold off half of my knife collection- my strider sng was on the short list of keepers. fantastic knife, meant to be used, and looks even better worn in. congrats and enjoy it
 
I've gotten rid of a few SNG's and I miss every one. They are great knives.

JR88FAN, not to be nosy but why is the composition of 3V your sig? Is it your favorite steel?

Just saw this thread. I have a green SnG-CC and a black lego. They are great knives. I had a couple of SnGs several years ago that I regretted selling, so I picked up a couple more. I put the CC on my KOWS and relaxed the edge angles a bit. It touches up with a Sharpmaker now. The lego SnG only needs stropping to get it where I like it. They are very light for their size and carry in a pocket nicely. Mine both came with centered blades and less than 50% lockup.
 
Ive always wanted a strider, but congrats! Strider looks like they put out amazing knives, i always wanter a pt over the sng (just because of the size), but if the song is the right size for you, thats awesome! hope you enjoy it! (i know you will lol)
