Hi bf, I've been eyeing this blade for a bit now because I love the looks and tanto blade, but was wondering if anybody has experienced with this knife. I don't see much about it anywhere.
I really love straight handled tanto designs so if you have input, let me know please, thanks

I've never used a VB, but I've handled one. I own, and use, several other Strider fixed blades. The VB balances perfectly and feels far lighter, than it really is, when held. It is a very cool knife, you'll know if it's "for you" or not when you hold it.

In general, Strider tantos aren't the best cutters, due to the insanely durable geometry, but they are crazy strong and effective for what they were designed for. If you're looking for a camping tool, or any kind of a slicer, you would be much happier with something like the MT Mod 10. However, if you want a knife that is crazy strong, and can cut if needed, the Strider tantos are among the best I've found. I use a Strider fixed tanto for taking apart wooden crates and other heavy duty shipping stuff and it works great. I don't have to worry about my edge like I would with any of my other knives.

Thanks for the response, I think I may pick one up along with monkey edge frag grips
