Strider Warranty & Customer Service?

I know that if your knife has blood on it or it has been pimped (parts replaced or modified) they will charge you money or not even touch the knife at all for safety reasons, which makes sense.

I agree that it makes absolute sense. Wouldn't you think though that a knife like the one samhain73 described sending in for repair wouldn't get sent back to him the way it was because of those very same "safety reasons" you mentioned?

Oh yeah, not fixing the AR is bullsh*t, pure and simple. Fix it, or offer something similar as a replacement. That's what Benchmade/Spyderco/Emerson/Kershaw/any other respected knife company would do.
 
I suppose all the "fans and friends" get stellar service and the rest of us just get screwed. Or do they?
