WTT my Strider XL. It is my personal favorite as far as Strider/Starlingear collabs go.
This is the [Oderint dum metuant] knife, which translates to 'Let them hate so long as they fear'. An ancient Roman saying you may also have seen on Strider t-shirts.
This knife features:
- A big blade (it's an XL, blade length is 4.375in)
- Dagger-style blade ground personally by Mick
- Mick's signature on the blade
- Rounded (CC style) CF front scale and titanium handle
- Spartan artwork on the titanium
- Unique spartan bronze bead (which, while not being overly ornate, can only be obtained in bronze with this knife)
- Flawless action (no lock rock, lock stick or blade play)
- The knife comes with a sheath by Greg Everett, with Strider and Starlingear logos stamped in.
Condition: as mentioned earlier, the mechanics are flawless. Appearance-wise, the knife has a minor dent in CF near the pivot, a slightly scratched screw head, and a couple of hairline scratches on the blade. Got the knife this way. I tried to capture all of the above best I could in the photos. The small scratches on the blade are a lot less apparent in person than in the pictures.
Price is USD 2100 > USD 2000 net (buyer covers PP fees, I cover shipping costs). The preferred partial trade I would consider is a production SJ75 (with brown earth front scale and plain blade) + cash. Maybe something else, but signficantly lower-priced than the XL I'm listing (as, unfortunately, I do need the cash).
