Are the strider folder blades heat treated in exactly the same way that Strider handmade blades are?

Yes, the Strider folder is heat treated exactly the same as the Strider fixed blade knives; all of them under the control of that little old heat treater, Paul Bos.

Thanks for the reply. I have a couple of strider fixed blades, and although I havn't put them through any serious use, I have hacked on some alluminum with them, and there is absolutely no damage, I was very impressed with this to say the leaset.

Bill, are the ATS34 versions going to be heat treated the same and, if so, will they have the BosMark?

I have not heard of any plans for a fixed blade Strider/Buck although you never know.
The ATS-34 versions will have the Bos mark.
