I know it's $15, but is that per knife? I have a few that could use some straightening out (lockup).
So, 6 striders would be $90 or just a flat $15?

I'm not sure, but I'd probably email them directly to find out. You may just get hearsay or opinions here.

It is per knife. Otherwise there could be "group repair" of let's say 100 knives. I doubt they would do it for $15.

The money is for return shipping. With 6 knives + insurance + signature confirmation, you're looking at about 40 to 50 bucks. Definitely email them to get a quote for the cost of return shipping.
Unless there are broken parts that need to be replaced, servicing should be free...because that's what a warranty is for.

This is about a company's customer service and not the knives. I'm moving this to Feedback.

Not so much with heresay, but a video from someone that got it done already.

What I recommend as with any warranty repair is to insure the package, make sure you pack the items well, and use tracking if possible. Include a note explaining what you want done to each individual item and more importantly what you do not want done to each item. I've even gone so far as putting a sticker on the handles of knives.

Good advice. Thanks. I will use the numbered sticker tip. Not sure what you mean about "what you do not want done to each item", as in don't sharpen them?

Thanks for the input guys, I'll let you know how I make out.

Most companies will sharpen your knife while it is in their possession for repair/warranty work. Include a note and tell them exactly what it is that you want done. Don't assume they will know or can figure it out.
