striders ... ugly ?????

No Offense intended to anyone here but, I think Glocks are ugly as hell when compared to a nice custom 1911,(European styling vs. American styling) But I carry two of them (primary and backup) onduty evry day. Why? Because they have always worked when I needed them. For this same reason, I intend on buying two Striders.

Almost what I was going to say, Glock are one of the ugliest guns ever, but durable, reliable, I think the same of the Striders.

Soooo after all I am not the only one who thinks they are ugly.. :D

I always figured striders would be like the ultimate knife for people who really have to depend on their knife, and strider has decided to make the best knife for these people. And from where I am standing, they are doing a great job at it too.

Back to the ugly aspect.. does an ultimate knife means it has to be ugly???? I think not but this is subject for another thread I think.

Thansk for the replies all folks. Keep 'm coming .

GB's

with apologies to Joyce Kilmer

I think that I shall never see
A knife lovely as a GB.

A knife whose hungry blade is prest
Against what needs cutting best;

A knife that God looks at all day,
Even he can't find one, he'll wait and pray;

A knife that I in my pocket wear
A knife so sharp it shaves my hair;

Upon whose blade oil and blood have lain;
Who intimately lives to dish out pain.

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only Mick can make a GB.

Yep, I think they are ugly as hell and heavy too. But, having said that, I would trust my life with one if necessary, which is probably what Mr. Strider would consider more of a compliment than saying his knives are pretty anyway.

I hate the looks of my GB . . . but that ain't why I bought it! It is the only folder I would think of yanking out of my bag to chop with . . . without thinking of ANY damage occuring to the knife! For that, they are without equal!:D
