Strike Anywhere Matches?

When? They reclassified them as hazardous, so most shipping companies don't like to carry them, but have they actually been outlawed????

There is a couple of states that have actually outlawed them, out of combustion fears.

You should check around at some local stores and see if they have them. In my area, you can often find them at Army-Navy stores. Some grocers sell them to- you just have to ask.

By the way, on Ebay, there is quite a few people selling strike anywhere matches with very low or even included shipping fees Just ebay search 'strike anywhere matches'.

My local REI (Chicago area) has both the small and kitchen size wooden matches. The small ones are strike anywhere, but the kitchen size are 'strike on the box'. Too bad, I would have picked up some boxes of the kitchen size.
