Strike guard for AK

I am really struggling with whether to add a Tsuba type guard or something more robust. The Tsuba would be more fitting for the sword style. Anything would be better than bare knuckle I think.

C'mon... lets be honest.

You bought the sword for zombie defense as did everyone else (me included)...

zombies dont fight back with swords, so you will be fine without a tsuba

I'll admit, as a zombie whacker, I do like that AK a lot.

I've always felt that swords should have some sort of blade stop at the top of the grip. I just feel more comfortable knowing that there's something for the opponent's edge to run into besides the back of my hand should I have to block or parry.
