Hello again from SIEGE Stoves & Belts,
Below are some pictures of our new sculpted buckle finish in solid stainless steel and brass.
Considering how many hours it takes to craft each buckle, these are an awesome value. While a good quality leather belt can be had for under $100, leather doesn't keep its good looks for long and soon degrades, plus it can't handle water activities without being ruined. Leather straps can remain functional for quite some time but if one doesn't want it looking creased, cracked and stretched, it needs to be periodically replaced (some people tell us they go through two or three leather belts a year). Buckles with chrome and other coatings also soon wear through. Premium leather belts (factory-made) with ordinary pin buckles can run $130-$220 (some even higher), and none of them is anywhere nearly as durable as a hand-crafted SIEGE Belt, with its custom nylon that will last a lifetime or more and a buckle that will last many generations.
We also have our high-performance SIEGE Stoves on sale (here). We are dedicated to making our stoves and belts in the USA. It keeps margins low, but gives us satisfaction in knowing that we are supporting US material suppliers, keeping revenue local, and that our products will always be made by us to the highest standards, with no compromises.
If you know anyone who might benefit from having one of these belts or stoves, or is looking for a unique gift that will last and last and get lots of use, please let them know about us. We only promote the belts and stoves in a couple of places, this being one of them, and we rely on word-of-mouth, so any help you can provide in spreading the word is much appreciated!
Also, if you have one of our belts or stoves and found out about us on BladeForums, please let us know!
Thank you,
