striped a screw with my benchmade 51 and now its sticking out, what should i do

Stripped screws are a bummer. I'm assuming you mean you rounded out the torx head and not cross-threaded it.
If its bad, you can cut/file a slot in the top and then use a flathead screwdriver to back it out and replace it.
If that freaks you out... send it over to Benchmade.

that same happened to my BM 527. I sent it to Benchmade via my retailer (since I am not american and there would have been complications in import/export beaurocracy) however in 6 weeks I got my BM 527 back with fixed torx and spare clip for free. Awesome service from the Benchmade
