Stripped and forced patina RAT3

I have also used a glass of orange juice on another knife left over night but the blade was all one color, it did not have the same effect as tuffthumbz nice lookin rat 3

Thanks, It looks like I have my Sunday project now. I am going to try it on my Izula first. I will let you know how it turns out.

School me on how to do this. Do I just smear mustard on the blade and let it sit? I am dying to give this a try.

put it on how you want, the heavier spots will be darker, the longer its on the darker it gets. i dabbed it with a paint bush so it would turn out speckled.

Okay I did this to my IZULA. Stripped it down which left the "Grey" finish. I left it on and coated it with the mustard. I let it sit over night and the next morning, nothing. Do I need to strip the Grey finish off? If so what is the best way to do that? I want to be one of the cool kids.

I already had my Rat3 blasted. I basically tiger striped it last night. It looks pretty cool but I feel I need to do more to it. I might try the paint brush thing tonight.

I wanted to try this with a tomahawk but never thought about doin' it to any knife, much less my beloved RC-3! Is this easy to do...?
